Eagle Ray (Aetobatus narinari)
The eagle ray is a graceful swimmer, whose flapping dorsal fins resemble an eagle in flight. It lives among rocky and muddy coral reefs, and feeds along the ocean bottom on mollusks, crustaceans and small fish. Its patterned back acts camouflage, hiding it from attackers and prey as it rests on the ocean floor.
