33X Postcard of Horsecollar Ruin
33X Natural Bridges Nation Monument
#14056 Horsecollar Ruin. Natural Bridges National Monument, Utah, USA
Research has shown that the Anasazi, prehistoric people who inhabited these canyons for centuries, were highly skilled and innovative. Artifacts show evidence of stone masons, weavers, potters, artists, skilled hunters, and dry-land farmers. Horsecollar Ruin, named for the twin, horsecollar-shaped openings, was utilized for storage of grain.
