25 Postcards ( OF The Same Design) Postcard of Exotic Wildlife (Critters)
Most young are completely helpless when they are born. Initially they rely on their parents, mainly the mother, for food and protection from predators. Parents will continue to feed and protect their young until they are able to fend for themselves. A crucial part of an offspring's
development occurs with weaning. During this time it will play with its siblings and learn social and survival skills from its parents. In general, wild animals bond with their young and do not quickly abandon them. The young animal will gain its independence once it learns the
necessary skills to survive on its own in the wild. In fact, most creatures find extraordinary ways to ensure the survival of their young.
